Stomach Cancer is also referred to as gastric cancer, many know that we cannot keep our stomach in a proper manner as the health habits change every time. There are many stages where we can find out that we have stomach cancer. In stage one, you can see indigestion, appetite loss and abdominal discomfort. In stage 2, there is weakness, fatigue and stomach bloating. In stage 3, there is abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting, constipation, weight loss, bleeding which appears black and leads to anemia, and disphagia. Causes include infection by heliobacter pylori, sometimes bracken consumption and spores, smoking, and iodine deficiency or excess of it.
Diagnosis is done with a gastroscopic exam that involves the insertion of a fiber optic cable into the stomach. There is also the upper GI series or barium roentgenogram, and CT scan. Because stomach cancer can spread, doctors order a CT or PET scan, or an endoscopic ultrasound exam. Stomach Cancer occurs in stages, taking place in a total of four stages. Treatment includes surgery, chemotherapy, radiation and multimodality therapy.
In medical jargon, cancer is termed as a malignant neoplasm. It is a term for a large group composing different diseases, but they all include
unregulated cell growth. So in cancer, cells divide and grow uncontrolled, form tumors and begin invading other parts of the body, and the blood stream or the lymphatic system aids in infecting more distant portion of the body. Cancer comes in the way of genes doing what they do best. Healthy cells grow well by themselves and destroy themselves if they are unhealthy. When this sort of cell division is interfered with, the result is cancer which does the interfering to begin with. This cellular damage can also be inherited.
There are two types of genes that hold especial concern if their processes are troubled. These are oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes. Among several other factors, smoking, exposure to radiation, infection, obesity, poor diet and exercise, environmental pollution etc. are some of the causes of cancer. These damage genes or join with already faulty genes to produce carcinomas.
Vaccine could actually prevent Cancer. Researchers, and scientists are working on Vaccine, laying their trust in prevention. As the old saying goes, prevention is better than cure doctors advise to take Vaccine when they are kids itself, and many centers are opened for the prevention of cancer. Disease Control centre known as CDC are recommending taking vaccine in their childhoods, and providing measure, and bringing awareness of Vaccine among the common people.
Not only people get the knowledge of vaccine, but could spread the world to the neighbors, relatives and even can come helpful when taking care of the children, and why not even the world. Cancer can be spread from people to people, but actually the cause is the air takes the disease. To make sure, one has to avoid things that lead you to cancer, and although smoking, and other drug activities brings cancer to one it is always advisable to be vaccinated.
Symptoms in cases of cancer are divided into three types. Local symptoms occur in the place where the primary cancer is found. At these spots there can be lumps, swelling or tumors, hemorrhage or bleeding, ulcers, and obvious pain. Metastatic symptoms occur because of the cancer beginning to spread to other parts of the body. Enlarged lymph nodes are a sure sign of this, which can be felt or seen under the skin directly. Then there is the engorged lives or hepatomegaly, an enlarged spleen or spleenomegaly, bone pain and fractures, and neurological trouble.
Going on to systemic symptoms, we see that these signs appear due to cancer affecting distant spots of the body, and are not connected to the direct or metastatic spread of carcinoma. The signs here consist of weight loss, fatigue, excess sweating, anemia and then there are those other specific conditions called paraneoplastic phenomena. These can be pinpointed by immunological or hormonal signals sourcing from the cancer cells.
The first and foremost reason for the cause of breast cancer is change in appearance. The fluid keeps leaking from the nipple. The skin transformation occurs around the nipple, sort of dimpling and the texture of the skin will have a massive difference. The appearance of the nipple also changes on its looks, and dries up easily, and will have lost its touch. It affects the milk producing system, and can be a nightmare for the mothers, and like any other cancer this can be cured too.
Generally breast cancers are easy to cure when it’s been found out in time, but it’s a painful and very repulsing if it gets worse. The fluid in the affected area causes more damage to the surrounding parts thus making the whole breast look lose its appearance, and a massive color change would also appear on breast. This cancer is caused due to change in body that involved in mutation. Tumor also occurs on breast that will lead into devastating results.
